Ducks Unlimited Wetland Discovery Centre
Set in the heart of Oak Hammock Marsh, one of Canada's most celebrated conservation areas, the Ducks Unlimited Canada Head Office and Wetland Discovery Centre in Stonewall, Manitoba, is a hub for nature-based education and environmental stewardship.
As Manitoba's leading destination for conservation learning, the 50,000+ sq. ft. facility recently underwent a major interior refurnishing, and our team at echoic was proud to be part of it.
We supplied and installed a wide range of furniture tailored to both the professional and public-facing areas of the building. In the offices, traditional and modern sit-to-stand workstations support a dynamic, collaborative work environment, while custom lockers provide convenient storage for staff and visitors. Banquet chairs and folding tables allow event, education, and training spaces to be set up flexibly, and durable multi-purpose furnishings stand up to daily public use.
The work is part of a broader transformation of the Harry J. Enns Wetland Discovery Centre, which welcomes more than 100,000 visitors each year. With support from the Government of Manitoba, the Government of Canada, and the people of Manitoba, the Centre and its trails have been undergoing significant renovations and green infrastructure upgrades.
The project blends function, flexibility, and environmental consciousness, in keeping with the mission and values of Ducks Unlimited Canada.
