Ecole Sage Creek Bonavista
École Sage Creek Bonavista is a beautiful new 900 student, $58 million, 103,000-square-foot French Immersion school designed to serve the growing communities of Sage Creek and Bonavista in Winnipeg.
The two-storey facility continues the 21st-century learning principles established in the original École Sage Creek, creating a dynamic environment centered around small, flexible learning communities organized around the heart of the school, the All-School Commons.
Drawing inspiration from the prairie landscape, the architectural design features warm, golden brick tones arranged in a gradient pattern that evokes the glow of a prairie sunrise. This theme carries through to the interior, where floor patterns, color palettes, and graphic elements reflect the natural warmth and character of Manitoba’s landscape.
More than just a school, École Sage Creek Bonavista is designed as a vibrant community hub, offering shared recreational areas, gathering spaces, and outdoor sports fields developed in collaboration with the City of Winnipeg.
At echoic, we were thrilled to be part of this legacy project, providing innovative and functional furnishing solutions that enhance collaboration, creativity, and comfort for students and educators alike.
